This Tuscan inspired wedding was absolutely stunning! From the colorful florals to the architecture of the Tivoli wedding venue, it was a dream! Photographing every detail & moment was so much fun. There were endless places to take beautiful photos around the venue.
JaNESSA & ALEX'S TIVOLI FALLBROOK WEDDING
Janessa & Alex wanted an intimate wedding with their closest friends & family. Every person they included played a key role in their lives & in their wedding day. I cannot express how helpful & kind each family member & friend was. They were all ready top help when needed to make sure their day was absolutely perfect. The bridal party was so fun & upbeat the entire day, which is great for our couples! All good vibes here! The day couldn't have gone smoother.
Getting to know Janessa & Alex!
Janessa & Alex are truly our dream clients! Paul & I met them in Morro Bay for their surprise proposal shoot that Alex had planned. We totally meshed from there on out & when they started wedding planning I was hopeful they would reach out & they did! We planned their engagement session for about 6 months before their wedding date. I took their engagement photos at the Darling Hotel in Visalia, CA. If you are looking for an indoor, elegant location for your engagement photos, the Darling Hotel is the perfect vibe! From the very beginning I knew how important photography was to Janessa & Alex. They valued my work & made it known it was one of the most important things for their wedding day. We meshed so easily. During the shoot they were relaxed & natural. The way they felt about each other was apparent in the photos I captured. This is what I strive for as a photographer. I want to tell your love story & let it show in the pictures that I take.
Leading up to the wedding day
I try to stay in constant communication with my wedding clients. I assure them that if they have any question's or need clarification on anything to reach out at any time. I share my number with my booked clients because I want them to feel that they can rely on me to respond no later then a few hours from when they reached out. I set up a timeline call 2-3 months prior to each clients wedding date so that we can discuss what they want in their timeline & want they don't want. This phone call can help to bring ease to my clients so that they know how their overall day will look U& how much time each detail will take.
An intimate & sweet wedding day
Every moment of their day was perfect. We started with solo shots of Janessa & all of her personal details. Then we moved into getting some shots of her giving gifts to her mom & bridesmaids. Followed by shots of mom helping her into her dress & putting on her veil. Then we moved over to Alex & the boys. We photographed him opening a special gift from Janessa & then moved into some details of him in his suit. We finished with some fun shots of the boys together outside.
Next, it was the time to set up for their private first look. Doing a first look does not take away from the special moment of your groom seeing you walk down the isle to him. Doing a first look gives you & your groom a private moment together where you can exchange gifts or read private vows. Janessa & Alex did both. Alex first gave her a special gift & then they went on to exchange their private vows followed by a quick couple session. It was stunning. One of the main benefits of doing a first look is that you can do the full bridal party & immediate family photos before the ceremony starts. This is good because it will lighten the load for what we have to do after the ceremony & it gives my couples a little more downtime.
After we finished all of the bridal party & family photos it was time to capture all of the stunning details of their day. This also gives them time to rest for a bit before their ceremony begins. We take the time to capture everything from tables, to the full ceremony area & any detail shelfs or trinket's displayed.
Ceremony time! Their ceremony set up was gorgeous. the mountains were in the background & the Isle was lined with more stunning florals. Everything went amazing & smooth. Janessa & Alex cheered their way down the isle exiting their ceremony. The only thing to follow here was theur sunset photos. Tivoli wedding venue had breathtaking views anywhere you went. The background had the mountains & the vineyards. Every angle was beautiful & photographed like magic.
Now they got to enjoy the tail end cocktail hour with their guests as we captured some candid moments & more details. They had a live musician which I highly recommend!
Next was time to get them situated for their grand entrance. The sun was setting so they incorporated light up glow sticks & it was so cool.I always recommend incorporating small details like this to your day! Glow sticks, bubbles. flower petals; the options are endless & add a fun flare to any photo or moment.
From here we had dinner & finished all of the reception festivities such as speeches, special dances, cake cutting, Janessa even gifted her mom her personal bouquet. This was such a beautiful moment for them. Then their DJ Pete dropped the beats & the dance floor was open. We partied the night away!
